My name is Olaf Pignataro, and I was born in 1975 in Evreux, France, and subsequently moved to Germany and Italy. I attended Bologna University and I graduated in humanities studies with a thesis about street art and obeygiant propaganda. Right now I’m living in Turin, but travelling quite a lot as freelance photographer.
My works focus on freestyle sports, such as skateboarding, snowboarding, bmx, fmx e wakeboarding, and on youth culture and travel reportages, but I also work at fairs and expositions. My photos and reports have been published on italian and international magazines. I’m working with firms like Red Bull, Nike, Carhartt and FIAT Freestyle, just to name a few. I co-operate with Promotor International Agency for big fairs like Motorshow and other trade shows. I co-operate with Actionsquad in Bologna and 515 Creative Agency in Turin.
