Making history?!
August 13th, 2008

There’s something special in vintage photographies that document facts belonging to the past. Rallies, wars, a faded cultural movement. I never thought one of my picture could get this status, so I was sorprised reading what Alessandro Minnino, the man behind “Graffiti writing” book, had to say in Ekosystem interview about one of my photos, portraing internationally awarded artist Meta2 painting on a train during the strike against G8, in Genoa 2001.
BMX mixed with Fixed

One photo camera, two bikes, three persons: stir and put all ingredients in a vintage convertible car. Wait for next issue of Rugged and other international magazine for a full report of this trip where we mixed BMX and Fixed Gear bikes.

Travelling
June 3rd, 2008

Travelling, making new friends, junk food, no vegan choice. Driving all night long, collecting speed tickets, speaking five languages in the same sentence, seven thousand songs in the ipod and keep listening to the same stuff. Sleeping in someone else bed, sleeping on a sofa, sleeping on the ground. No sleep at all, dirty clothing, good parties. Bad parties, mondays parties, getting asked “When are you coming back?” in too many places. Four persons, two bikes, photo equipment, video equipment, too many luggages, just one car. Loosing luggages, forgetting luggages. Airplanes luggage politics decided by people that never flought, for sure. Sniffing neighbors wifi connection, paying the rent for a flat 2000 kilometers away. Sneaking in a Baltic Sea ferry without paying, and sleeping in a 100 euro per night cabin. Writing photolog captions while stuck in the rain.
Keep moving by any mean necessary.
Nike 6.0: terra!
May 14th, 2008

After the snow trip, all the team mates of Nike 6.0 jumped in the cars for the “land” appointment, for a weekend of FMX, pitbikes, BMX and skateboarding, too. Headquarter was Cantiere Bovisa, a design house in Milan, big enough to skate in it, and for a bunnyhop contest as well. Can’t wait for the surf trip!
